What we collect

Research we do when you contact us
If you give us your business name or website, we look at publicly available information about your business before we reply — so our first response is useful rather than a list of questions you have already answered.
We use only public sources: the public domain registry (when your domain was registered), the Internet Archive (when your site first appeared), public DNS records (your host and email provider), and what your own website publishes about itself. This is information any of your customers could find. We do not use people-search services or data brokers, we do not research individuals, and we do not buy data about you.
If you would rather we did not, say so in your message and we will skip it.
Why we use it

- To keep this site secure and working
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for. We do not share your details with third parties except the service providers below.
Who processes data for us

How long we keep it

If you're a California resident, you have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale — we don't sell data, so there's nothing to opt out of.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. We store credentials in an encrypted vault, use multi-factor authentication on our accounts, and keep client data on systems we control. No system is perfectly secure, but security is the discipline this business is built on.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
